AGC Begins Research on Ethylene Production Using CO2 as Raw Material

AGC has agreed to a joint research contract with Canada-based climate tech startup company, CERT Systems Inc.to conduct research on the production of ethylene using CO2 as a raw material through electrolysis technology. In this joint research, the AGC Group will begin examining the introduction of CCU technology in order to replace ethylene, which is used as a raw material for products such as polyvinyl chloride and fluoropolymer resin, with ethylene derived from CO2.

Modern RF systems often require remote testing where a measurement sensor connected to an RF system is a significant distance apart from the instrument that controls and records system measurements. Physical separation of the sensor from the control and monitoring interface can extend across the room or even into separate buildings of a manufacturing facility, from inside-to-outside of an environmental or anechoic chamber, for example.

KRYTAR Announces New Compact Directional Coupler Operating in the Wideband Frequency Range of 0.5 to 26.5 GHz

This new Directional Coupler, Model 152630, offers superior performance ratings including Nominal Coupling (with respect to output) of 30 dB, ±1.8 dB. Frequency Sensitivity is ±1.8 dB. The directional coupler exhibits Insertion Loss (including coupled power) of less than 1.0 dB, Directivity of >10 dB, and maximum VSWR is 1.45 at any port.

Additional features for Model 152630 include Input Power Rating of 20 W average and 3 kW peak. The directional coupler comes with industry-standard SMA female connectors. The compact package measures just 4.40 inches (L) x 0.38 inches (W) x 0.73 inches (H), and weighs only 2.3 ounces. Operating temperature is -54° to +85° C.

Mini-Circuits’ new PMA5-series MMIC power amplifiers afford designers both high dynamic range and significant headroom for high PAPR signals up to 10 GHz.
